| JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE: | |||
| The Press Brake Operator is committed to: • defect free and on time at the lowest cost possible for our customer • prevent exposures and reduce waste at the lowest cost possible for our environment Report to Street Coach, in the Street Captain's absence report to Focus Factory Manager. | |||
| ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned): | |||
| • Understand and execute to a set of specified instructions (sequenced based control, work instructions, drawings, etc.) • Execute proper start-up and shut-down of machine. • Set-up, load and operate brake or punch press to planned arrangements. • Evaluate, correct, and take actions necessary to prevent external quality (size & defects) issues. • Select (grinders, abrasives, etc.) and utilize a variety of metal finishing tools to meet specified surface requirements. • Utilize a variety of material lifting devices (cranes, positioners, magnets, hooks, etc.) • Utilize a variety of material control devices (fixtures, templates, etc.) • Work responsibly and safely at all times. | |||
| MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS: | |||
| • Perform additional activities of execution as required. • Participate in the plan to organize, control and maintain the work environment. | |||
| QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: | |||
| Obtain a score of 100% on forming and general shop assessment within 1 week of job placement. | |||
| EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: | |||
| Previous forming experience preferred. Compensation: $20-$31 | |||
