| JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE: | |||
| The Laser Operator is committed to: • defect free and on time at the lowest cost possible for our customer • prevent exposures and reduce waste at the lowest cost possible for our environment Report to Dept Manager. | |||
| ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned): | |||
| •Select and set up lenses based on material type and thickness, load programs, set machine parameters and proper fixtures to ensure optimal performance of the equipment. • Establish proper stop location, adjust laser beam focal point. • Execute proper start-up and shut-down of machine. • Run laser to planned arrangements . • Evaluate, correct, and take actions necessary to prevent external quality (size & defects) issues. • Always Work responsibly and safely | |||
| MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS: | |||
| • Perform additional activities of execution as required • Participate in the plan to organize, control and maintain the work environment | |||
| QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: | |||
| Obtain a score of 100% on general shop assessment within 1 week of job placement. | |||
| EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: | |||
