Standard Iron Alexandria: Weekend Shift Lead

Standard Iron, a leader in contract manufacturing for over 90 years, is seeking a dedicated Weekend Shift Lead with a strong background in welding for our Alexandria, MN facility. We value Safety, Respect, Pride in Work, and Continuous Improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety Leadership: Champion and enforce a 24/7 safety culture among all team members.
Team Development: Train and mentor employees in welding operations and related manufacturing processes.
Policy Enforcement: Ensure adherence to company policies and quality standards.
Operational Oversight: Monitor production schedules to optimize manpower and meet production goals.
Lead by Example: Embody and promote Standard Iron's core values in all actions.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment with a focus on welding operations.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, train, and develop a team effectively.
Technical Proficiency: Comprehensive understanding of welding techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to address and resolve production challenges.

Shift Details:

Schedule: Friday to Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM.
Pay: $21-$22/hr
Compensation: Work 36 hours and receive pay for 40 hours, plus a $1.50/hour shift differential.
